Whiplash!

Well, I mean yeah. I’m not sure how else to describe it. In the space of 3 months I’ve gone from giving up on virtual everything to being torn apart by like 3 or 4 different projects. Mind you, that’s not counting grids where I only show up and chit-chat!

So I’m feeling a pressing need to get my shit together; hence this blog.

I intend on coming back later and making this tidier (famous last words) but for now here’s the list:

Second Life: Hookton

• “Han Museum” of SLB swag (completed)
• “This Old House” -my own version of the DS “The Old House” (which has proven deceptively simple -meaning it looks easy but honestly has not been)
• Gate (as in Stargate) bunker: I have the area laid out and default-texture prims in place but that’s it. Eventually will be a hidden military-kinda room accessible from This Old House.
• Maybe do something in the sky with the Rathaus and The Wrong House?

OSGrid: Amber Shadow

• I’m on a mission from Goddess -that’s right: “Goddess”.
• I have no idea what I’m doing
• But I have 1024×1024 to do it in 😸

Neverworld Grid: “Harper’s Grove”

• My Noir (“Black Kiss”,”Blue Velvet”) and Horror (Ghosts’ “Opus Eponymous”, “Rosemary’s baby”) inspired build.
• Not an RP area -or is it? There’s a lot of self-contained RP on NWG and I may possibly turn this into one as well.
• My self-hosted regions
• Private for friends only due to mature themes (sex and satanism)
• Regularly archived in case I need to move

Neverworld Grid: “Harper’s Land”

• I will be running around the Hypergrid scavaging things for the Harper’s Grove project. I will be setting out things I find that are full-perm in this region. Not self-hosted, rented from NWG.

Triptych Grid: the successor to Admeja Grid.

• Not sure what I’m gonna be doing there tbh, but “stuff” if nothing else!

…and then there’s ARK as well! 😱😮

tldr: “Scattered” is my middle name!

These are all on-going and obviously I won’t be working on them all at the same time. I’ll work on one, move to another, go back to the third -and so on.

The real challenge will be the darkness -we’re past the summer solstice and the days are getting shorter. That is awesome for the next couple of months, but once it’s Mid-October my mind will begin shutting down (due to S.A.D.) and I won’t be particularly functional until January or February of 2024. And then there’s the dental pain (issues that have been going on for a year now because of logistics) which is recurring. Last year that wiped me from October until February -we’ll see how that all goes this year.
